How do you explain the following?

Husbands who ill-treat their wives.
Parents who abuse their kids.
Bosses who misuse their power to mis-treat their subordinates.
Teachers who beat up kids, on the pretext of homework not completed. And this,
Kids who ill-treat their parents.
